Itinerary
- 6:00 AM – Start from LehBegin your day early to avoid the heat and ensure ample time for both the climb and descent. Prepare your bike, check your gear, and layer your clothing as the temperatures will vary.
- 8:00 AM – First Rest StopAfter 10 km, stop at South Pullu for a brief rest. Hydrate and have a light snack. You’ll start feeling the altitude here, so take it easy.
- 10:00 AM – Second Rest StopContinue up to Dixit Village, where you’ll get another opportunity to rest and acclimatize.
- 11:30 AM – Reach Khardung LaAfter 4-5 hours of cycling, you’ll reach the summit of Khardung La. Here, you can rest, enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains and Nubra Valley, and take photos at this legendary location.
- 12:30 PM – Descend Back to LehAfter a short break, you can begin your downhill ride. The descent is much faster, offering spectacular views of the valley and mountains. It will take you around 2-3 hours to get back to Leh.
- 2:30 PM – Arrive Back in LehArriving back by late afternoon, enjoy a well-deserved meal and rest after this challenging but rewarding ride.
