Liktse – Accessibility & Permits

By Road:
Liktse is reachable via remote mountain roads branching from Nyoma or Mahe. Due to rugged terrain and high altitude, a 4×4 vehicle and an experienced local driver are highly recommended for safe travel.

Permits:
An Inner Line Permit (ILP) is generally required for all travelers, especially foreign nationals, given Liktse’s proximity to sensitive border areas. Permits must be arranged in Leh before travel.
