How to Reach:
By Road: Starting from Leh, the route passes through Upshi, Chumathang, and Mahe. After Mahe, head toward Nyoma, and from there, local tracks branch off to Egoo Tso. A high-clearance vehicle is strongly recommended.
Permits: Being close to the Indo-China border, Inner Line Permits (ILP) are compulsory for both Indian and foreign travelers.

Acclimatization is essential — spend at least 2 days in Leh before heading toward Egoo Tso to avoid altitude sickness.
No facilities for food, fuel, or accommodation near the lake. Prepare with supplies, including water, dry snacks, and emergency medical kits.
